Marty the zebra is the second most popular character of Madagascar. He loves his job working and living at the Central Park Zoo in New York with his best friend Alex the lion. Marty is a hopeless optimist; he usually sees the brighter side of every situation. He strives to be original with a carefree attitude, which tends to annoy his friends.
